LECTURE
In Week 9, we learned about surrealism. Mr. Fauzi taught us the difference between realism and surrealism. Realism takes subject matters of the ordinary and common world which we call "reality." It almost always takes a non-exotic and non-extraordinary subject matter and theme. There is no need to think outside of the box, as that is not "real." Surrealism is a twist on Realism. It explores the subconscious mind, with subject matters concentrating on dream images and often aims to distort the ordinary and what we call reality.

PRACTICAL
No practical task was released for this week. We continued our progress on Project 2.
REFLECTION
The surrealism style is very interesting but also looks really challenging to accomplish. I learned that it is important to sketch my vision out and focus on capturing the key points of my idea. This style also requires a lot of reference images to help bring the design to life, because it serves as a good source of inspiration and guidance when adding more details to the overall design.
