Exercises
We had 2 exercises that we were tasked to make a presentation on. The first exercise is about our favourite video game and the second is about the evolution of traditional to digital games. The games I chose to do were Clash of Clans and Battleship, respectively.

Group Project
Project 1: Proposal
For the group project, we named our group 'The Eevees'. These are our group members whom I love dearly. They are the best frfr
- Alefiya Hassanally (0361638)
- Chong Hui Yi (0363195)
- Janice Marie Eng Chia Hui (0361521)
- Joey Lok Wai San (0350857)
- Muhammad Warith Bin Moss (0362270)
- Reema Arif Hamza (0362792)
Project 1: Proposal
For the proposal, we split up the tasks and slides between ourselves. Our initial idea was called 'Taylor's Timeless Tales. We played a few games, 'Exploding Kittens' and 'Angry Indians', before coming up with our game.

Project 2: Tabletop Gameplay
Project 2 was all about playtesting and designing the characters of our cards, including their illustration and character names. We also worked on the rules and instructions of our game. The task can be viewed in our group blog.
Project 3: Final Iteration & Presentation
This is the final iteration of our game cards. Our presentation went quite well. The industry guests seemed to enjoy our game and Dr. Charles even took our cards (rip our money).

FEEDBACK
All the feedback from Dr. Charles and playtests can be viewed in our group blog.
REFLECTION
This module was a lot different than the other modules this semester. From what I was used to there would be a long lecture followed by a tutorial and our work. I did not expect how chill this would be when all we had to do was show up and discuss our game with our group. There isn't a set way to design a game. Every game is different; so really the only way to make a game better is to do rounds of playtesting and analysis. The experiences that came with developing a game and improving it, are a much better way than sitting down and learning from slides. It makes the module feel more personalized and interactive, rather than mundane and boring.
When it came to group work, I could not ask for better members. I am very thankful for all their hard work and effort put into making this game. We worked really well together, with lots of laughs and fun times along the way, there was never a dull or conflicting moment with them. Any problems we faced were quickly resolved by collectively communicating. They are really all amazing people that I'm lucky to have met and work with.
